The first challenge that we took on for Engineers week was building marshmallow and spaghetti towers using 20 strands of spaghetti and 15 small marshmallows. Firstly, in pairs we planned our towers. Then we had 18 minutes to construct our towers. Once the time finished, our tower had to stand unsupported for 15 seconds. We then measured the height of each tower. Kate and Liams 45cm high tower won. Retaj and Sophie were second with 34cm and Fatimah and Mohammad were third with 24cm. We really enjoyed this challenge.
