Bugs for Life workshop
17th Nov 2025
As part of Science week, we went to Ballymote library for a 'Bugs for Life' workshop. We learnt about the importance of bugs in the world. We heard how some countries use bugs as a source of protein and how they will be used more in the future as earth's population rises. We got to make a home for meal worms and we took these home to grow our own meal worms. Finally, we got to taste roast meal worms. They were delicious and nutty and we would eat them again.
